COMPUTEX 2024 set off an AI boom, and the president of Asia University, Cai Jinfa, led a team to visit, and cooperated with Inventec to create a digital course with VRSTATE's metaverse technology, which can generate virtual teachers to teach classes with one click and convert them to multiple languages simultaneously, making it convenient for international students to learn.
President Cai Jinfa said that Asia University is committed to cultivating talents in the smart medical and health industry, and promoting related scientific and technological research and industrial cooperation. As early as 4 years ago, it took the lead in establishing the first metaverse base in central area. Inventec assisted the AI virtual host designed by Asia University, who served as a docent at the "Future Expo" last year, which was very popular with the participating high school students and parents, and opened the opportunity for the two parties to sign a memorandum of cooperation, Asia University will use Inventec's newly created "VRSTATE" in Asia University's smart campus.
President Cai led a team to visit the COMPUTEX exhibition and saw NVIDIA founder Jensen Huang at the Inventec booth, who signed the latest NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 AI cabinet from foundry partner Inventec and learned about its application. When President Cai met with Huang in Silicon Valley in March this year, Huang also proposed a specific direction for the development of the "Global Genomics Analysis Platform Development Project" that Asia University and Harvard Medical School are jointly researching.
Inventec also placed a special introduction to the "Metaverse Campus" in cooperation with Asia University at the booth.
Lin Allen, Senior Manager of Inventec's Metaverse Technology Department, pointed out that Inventec provides a three-in-one Metaverse cloud learning experimental architecture of teaching, hardware and service, and each college can construct a virtual avatar of teachers according to the needs of the course, which can generate digital course videos with one click and convert them into multiple languages simultaneously, so that foreign students can learn without delay.
Senior Manager Lin Allen mentioned that Inventec's metaverse 3D technology is widely used. For example, the Asia University Museum of Modern Art, designed by the world-renowned architect Tadao Ando, can be turned into a 3D exhibition; the catwalk activities of the fashion department can also jump out of the flat space and become a metaverse catwalk with a sense of science and technology.
In addition, Inventec's establishment of a metaverse health management and home care platform is also one of the features; President Cai took a closer look at various applications such as smart wards and health care management metaverses. Asia University has invested 7.5 billion yuan to build Fengyuan's "Asia University Rich Health Industrial Park", which will be completed and opened in 2026, which will require more relevant talents, the application of smart medical care, and the implementation of related technologies in the high-quality services of Asia University Affiliated Hospitals and long-term care institutions.
