[Reporter Liu Minjun/Taipei Report] The 2025 Spring/Summer Taipei Fashion Week was grandly launched a few days ago. Designer Gioia Pan, known as the "Knitting Queen", took the theme of "Time and Space Traces" this season, and continued to bring more new looks to her knitting techniques through paper cutting and stone carving art. Gioia Pan, with her outstanding design talent, is known as the "Queen of Knitting" and has won the highest honor in Chinese fashion design, the "Golden Top Award". She has also appeared in Tokyo and New York Fashion Week many times. Her 2025 Spring and Summer series "Time and Space Traces" is inspired by natural landforms and stone carving art, and cleverly combines the delicate beauty of paper cutting with the power of historical flow. The series unfolds in the interweaving of time and space, outlining the intersection of the past and the future through distinct textures and colors. The ups and downs of the canyon, the eternity of stone carvings and the fleeting beauty of paper-cuts interweave to create a series of moving time and space silhouettes. These works not only show the infinite possibilities of clothing design, but also convey a unique charm of time travel. Each work incorporates the glory and tragedy of the years, highlighting the profound dialogue between history and modernity.
On September 10, 2024, Golden Summit Award winner and knitwear queen Gioia Pan released the 2025 Spring/Summer Haute Couture Collection at the Beijing China International Fashion Week.
